This fictional concept car was modeled through three primary editions, countless internal iterations, and 2 years of total evolution. It was modeled in Fusion 360 with the use of surface modeling, and 473 timeline operations. I don’t have access to any particularly fancy software, as I’m only a college student, so I used what I had freely available: Fusion for modeling, and Blender for renders. Ultimately, the project was a labor of love, with the goal of bringing a bit of excitement and hope to my fellow owners of the long since discontinued car, the Mitsubishi 3000GT that it is based on. I would work on it in my space time, making small bursts of occasional progress, which is why it took so long. I slowly improved my skills with surface modeling, developing my own techniques for creating highly detailed 3D models, and learning how to create photorealistic renders within Blender in the process. The model is parametric, meaning the Fusion model is not mesh based.
