During my time with Syncom Space Services, I worked with the facility maintenance engineering team to maintain and improve NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility, (MAF). This included detailed facility condition assessments, writing Excel macros for my coworkers, dataset upkeep, report generation, waterjet repair, storm pump maintenance, and many other random issues across the large site.
Also, I independently researched non-destructive testing machines for procurement, including getting quotes from domestic and international companies, compiling my research into an easy to read spreadsheet, and relaying my research to my supervisors.
I was fortunate to be able to see the rollout of Artemis 2’s Core Stage. I (far left in the photo), am standing with my facility maintenance engineering colleagues. I greatly enjoyed working with them!
